BMW has released new videos with the 2014 M3 and M4 Coupe, which are showing the two models in action, and not only.
The new generation of the BMW M3 has been finally unveiled, just a few hours ago, two years after the new 3-Series came to life. The model was unveiled along with its two-door brother, the M4 Coupe, and both vehicles are coming with exactly the same features, the only difference being in the body style. The BMW M3 and M4 are both taking their power from a 2,979 cc twin turbo straight six engine, which is producing a total output of 431 HP, at 5,500 – 7,300 rpm, and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque, between 1,850 rpm and 5,500 rpm.
The unit can be mated to either the 7-speed dual clutch automatic or the 6-speed manual transmission. The official fuel consumption stands at 8.3L / 100km (34 mpg UK / 28.3 mpg US) with the DCT and 8.8L / 100km (32.1 mpg UK / 26.7 mpg US) for the manual version while the CO2 emissions stand at 194 g/km. No pricing details have been announced yet and these many be released once the two models will make their public debut next month, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
