A new generation of the BMW M3 has been revving for the camera at the 2014 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, in Italy.
The new BMW M3 generation is not that new to be presented at an automotive event but considering the fact that Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is sponsored by the German based automaker for quite a few years now, the performance sedan just had to show its teeth during the event. And what teeth they are! The clip posted below is showing the new BMW M3 revving its engine for the camera.
The 2014 BMW M3 has been officially presented to the public last year. The model in question is related to its two-door coupe brother, the M4, and to the third model in the lineup, the M3 Convertible. All three vehicles are taking their power from the same 3.0 liter (2,979 cc) twin turbo straight six-cylinder engine. The unit is producing a total output of 431 HP and it has a peak torque of 550 Nm (405 lb-ft), which is available from 1,850 rpm to 5,500 rpm. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual or to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
