Chevrolet has released a new teaser video for the 2014 Corvette, which will be unveiled on Sunday, the 13th of January, ahead of its debut scheduled for the 2013 NAIAS.
The newest footage with the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette is named the “Creation” and it’s showing the assembly line of the sports car, giving us a glimpse on how the model is built. The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is getting closer and closer to its future customers and the model will be unveiled this Sunday, January 13, and it will make its public debut one day later, during the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit.
As we have already told you, the new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette will get the LT1 6.2 liter V8 engine under its hood with direct injection and continuously variable valve timing (CVVT), which will produce a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). This will allow the sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 3 seconds and return 26+ mpg on the highway (US). More details on the new Corvette will be announced during its presentation.
