The new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro has been spied once more, this time on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
The North American based automaker Chevrolet has started the development of a new generation Camaro but before the model in question will be ready for an official unveil, the company has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should. The newest spy video with the popular muscle car, in its newest generation, is coming from the Nurburgring and it is showing the model in action on the track.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be riding on a modified version of the Alpha platform, from the Cadillac ATS. The suspension system should be significantly upgraded, along with the engine lineup which, for the first time ever, will adopt a 2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, from the ATS. This will compete with Mustang’s EcoBoost unit and it will produce approximately 272 HP and 400 Nm of torque, less than the competition’s 310 HP and 433 Nm of torque. The new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro will be introduced sometimes next year and more details on it are limited for the moment.
