The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently brought the brand new Corvette Stingray to Europe, healing where the muscle car will go on sale later on this year.
General Motors has already announced its plans to introduce the 2014 Corvette Stingray to Europe ever since earlier this year, and now the carmaker has brought the model on the Old Continent, for a final round of testing, before it will go on sale over the following months. Chevy says that the test program will be overseen by Patrick Herrmann, the company’s Europe technical manager, and he will document his experience on social media.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe is being provided by the 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which his producing a total output of 455 HP (335 kW) at 6,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 623 Nm (460 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm. The Convertible is less powerful, coming at 450 HP (331 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 609 Nm of torque (450 lb-ft) at 4,600 rpm. Power is being sent to the wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match. The model has a 50:50 weight distribution and it is 177 in long, 73,9 in wide and it’s riding on a 106.7 in long wheelbase.
