The new generation of the Hyundai Sonata has been recently spied while it was being tested once again, in the United States.
After it has been caught on camera by our spy photographers just a few days ago, the new generation of the Hyundai Sonata is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, which is showing the model on the road, while it was being tested. The new generation of the Hyundai Sonata will wear the 2015 model year in its name and this means that it will actually go on sale next year.
The 2015 Hyundai Sonata will move more upmarket than the Equus and the Genesis sedans thanks to its premium touches which include the LED elements in the lights or the larger LCD on the center stack. The new Sonata generation will also use the same platform as the outgoing model, along with the entire engine lineup, which will be turbocharged. The 1.6 liter four-cylinder unit from the Veloster Turbo is believed to replace the 2.4 liter base option. A hybrid version is also expected. More details on the new Hyundai Sonata generation are limited for the moment.
