A brand new Jaguar test mule has been caught on camera while it was quietly sitting around in a parking lot and some voices are saying that this might be the BMW 3-Series fighter, currently known as the X3.
The Jaguar XE is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is sitting quietly in a parking lot. The model in question has been already announced for production by Jaguar several weeks ago, so its appearance is not taking anyone by surprise. In fact, the development is so far away that some reports are saying that this might be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October.
The new Jaguar XE will pretty much look like the XF on a smaller scale and it will be riding on the iQ[AI] platform, coming with shorter front and rear overhangs and with a more compact body. Other similarities will be made to this model so that it could be able to go against popular vehicles like the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4 or the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Details on the engine lineup which will be adopted by the new XE are limited for the moment. Rumors are saying that the deliveries of the first XE units will begin in 2015.
