[VIDEO] New Maserati Quattroporte gets first promo

Maserati has recently released the first promotional video with the brand new Quattroporte generation.

After announcing the 2014 Quattroporte’s production start in Turin just a couple of weeks ago, the brand new model signed by Maserati is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a first promotional video. The footage posted below can be considered romantic by some but our opinion is that it’s showing the elegant four-door coupe as a perfect vehicle for almost every situation.

As a quick reminder, the entry-level version of the Maserati Quattroporte will get a 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 engine under its hood, which will develop a total output of 410 HP (310 kW) and 550 Nm of torque (406 lb-ft). The model will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 285 km/h (177 mph).

A larger 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 can also be ordered, with its 530 HP (390 kW) and 710 Nm of torque (542 lb-ft), which is allowing the mode to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and to reach a top speed of 307 km/h (191 mph). Both units are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and the V6 can be ordered with an all-wheel drive system.
