Maserati has released a new video with the new Quattroporte generation revealing the model in a night testing session.
After it was officially unveiled a couple of months ago, the new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the Italian based automaker releasing a new video with the model where the luxurious four-door coupe is being revealing in a night testing session. The new Maserati Quattroporte will use V6 and V8 engines sourced from Ferrari which will also be used on future Alfa Romeo models.
The 2014 Maserati Quattroporte will get a 3.0 liter V6 engine under its hood for the base entry-level version, which will produce a total output of 410 HP, allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 285 km/h. The 3.8 liter V8 with direct injection and double supercharging will also become available for the new Quattroporte generation, generating 530 HP and 670 Nm of torque. Acceleration in this variant stands at 4.7 seconds and top speed is 307 km/h.
