[VIDEO] New Mazda2 / Demio makes video debut

The Japanese based automaker Mazda has officially released the first official videos with the brand new 2015 Mazda2 / Demio.

The new generation of the Mazda2, or the Demio as it is also known in some markets, is ending up in our news once again, hours after it was officially unveiled. The company has released the first official videos with it which include its unveiling and also a short promotional clip which should capture your attention. The new Mazda2 has received the Kodo design language, just like its larger brothers, the Mazda3 and the Mazda6, along with a simple cabin layout.

The model stands at 4,070 mm in length, 1,730 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height, with a 2,585 mm long wheelbase. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will include the 1.5 liter SKYACTIV-D diesel, with its 105 HP (77 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, which will be later joined by the 1.5 liter SKYACTIV-G, in different versions, connected to a manual or an automatic transmission. In Japan, the model will be launched this autumn and on the Old Continent it will arrive in October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Read more about the 2015 Mazda2 / Demio here.
