The Japanese based automaker Mazda has released the first teaser video with the new generation of the Mazda6.
The all-new Mazda6 generation will be up to 80 percent similar to the Takeri Concept, which made its debut back in December 2011 during the Tokyo Motor Show. According to the car manufacturer, thee new generation of the Mazda6 will be equipped with the new SkyActiv engines and transmissions, which will improve the fuel consumption by up to 30 percent and reduce CO2 emissions, and the model will also get an interpretation of the Kodo design language.
As a reminder, the Mazda Takeri Concept has been officially presented to the public at the 42nd edition of the Tokyo Motor Show in December 2011, and after making its European debut too, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the model is close to “giving birth” to the new Mazda6. When describing the Mazda Takeri Concept, words like the SkyActive technology or regenerative braking system have been used quite a lot, but rather than going through all that again, we’d better focus on the future generation of the Mazda6, which should hit the market pretty soon. The new Mazda6 might be revealed during the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September.
