Opel / Vauxhall has recently released the first promotional video with the new Cascada model, which was unveiled just earlier today.
After pulling the wraps off the all-new Opel / Vauxhall Cascada just earlier on today, the carmaker is placing the model into the spotlights once again, this time with releasing the very first promotional video with the model, along with more official images. The all-new Cascada is 4,697 mm long and 1,840 mm wide and it’s riding on a combination of the Insignia and Astra platforms. The model is a four-seat convertible which takes its name from the Spanish word for waterfall.
The engine lineup in the new Opel / Vauxhall Cascada includes the new 1.6 liter turbo petrol MGE with its 168 BHP and 280 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The company will also offer a 1.4 liter petrol with 138 BHP, along with a 2.0 liter diesel generating 163 BHP. The canvas top of the new Cascada can be opened in 17 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph by pressing either the switch in the cabin or the button on the key fob. The Cascada will arrive in Vauxhall’s dealerships in 2013 and its price list will be announced then.
