The new Porsche 911 Carrera S has recently been tested by autoblog.nl and a camera placed on the German vehicle captured the 0 to 300 km/h acceleration.
A recent test done by the automotive journalists at autoblog.nl is showing, thanks to a camera placed on the sports car, the 0 to 300 km/h acceleration time in the new Porsche 911 generation. Our colleagues have chosen the Carrera S with the PDK double clutch for their test and the place seems to be seems to be the German Autobahn. In the video below you can see the driver of the new Porsche 911 Carrera S putting his foot on the gas pedal and the sports car is simply doing its job.
As a reminder, the new Porsche 911 Carrera S is powered by a 3.8 liter boxer engine which is developing a total output of 394 horsepower, being able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and hitting a top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph), while burning an average of 8.7 liters every 100 km and emitting 206 g/km of CO2. The new generation of the Porsche Carrera S (991) can be bought for a starting price of 102.436 euros.
