A new presentation video for the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 has been recently released by the German based automaker.
The new generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 (991) is one of the hottest sports cars ever developed by the company and the model has been officially unveiled just a few months ago. The Porsche 911 GT3 is available with the PDK transmission only and it has a completely new body, chassis, engine and transmission. Speaking of the engine, you should know that this is an adaptation of the unit used in the current Porsche Carrera S, but with only a few common parts. The engine is weighing 25 kg less than the previous version and it has a power output of 125 HP / liter.
The total output produced by the 3.8 liter boxer engine stands at 475 HP (349 kW) and the peak torque is 438 Nm (324 lb-ft). The unit is mated, as we said previously, to a PDK transmission, which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 3.5 seconds in the new Porsche 911 GT3 and top speed stands at 315 km/h (195 mph).
