Porsche has released a presentation video for the new 911 GT3 in which the company’s chief engineer is talking about some of its features.
The brand new Porsche 911 GT3 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, in which the carmaker’s chief designer is telling us about some of its features. Power to the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 is being provided by a 3.8 liter boxer engine, which is developing a total output of 475 HP (349 kW) and it has a peak torque of 438 Nm (324 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission which is sending power to the wheels. The 911 GT3 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 315 km/h (195 mph). The model has been fitted with a new rear bumper, a fixed rear wing, big spoilers, extended side skirts, LED lights, center mounted dual exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels.
