A new owner of the hot Porsche 918 Spyder has taken his ride to the track where some pretty impressive driving skills have been caught on camera.
Usually when talking about exotic rides, most of them are never put to their full use as owners prefer to keep them in a garage, hidden from the rest of the world and all to their selves. But every once in a while, wealthy guys such as this one step out of their comfort zone and take their brand new hypercars to the track, Spa Francorchamps to be more exact. What comes out of that can be seen in the video posted below.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is the fastest and most powerful road-legal vehicle to ever have been produced by the German based marque. The vehicle has been unveiled almost two years ago, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it is Porsche’s answer to the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1 and it is the only one of the three to get a roadster body style and an all-wheel drive layout. This has a 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, backed up by two electric motors. The total output produced stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h (210 mph).
