The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released a new video with the 2014 Octavia RS, in which the model, in its two body styles, is shown in action.
After it was officially unveiled just a few days ago, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a video in which the model is being shown in action. The footage posted below is revealing the Octavia RS and the Octavia Combi RS on a track, so if you’re looking into the model, than you should definitely scroll down and click play.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 Skoda Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0 liter TSI engine, sourced from the new Golf 7 GTI, which is good for 220 HP (162 kW), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 248 km/h (154 mph). There is also a diesel version of the model, powered by a 2.0 liter TDI, the same engine from the Golf 7 GTD. This is producing a total output of 184 HP (135 kW). The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in this version takes 8.1 seconds and top speed stands at 232 km/h (144 mph).
