Smart has recently released a teaser video with the upcoming ForTwo and ForFour, which will be introduced later on this year.
Following a lot of spy photos and even a few leaked images, the new generations of the Smart ForTwo and ForFour are finally getting an official footage, as the carmaker has recently released the first teaser video with the two models. If you are expecting completely naked test mules, think again, because the company has used some camouflage to cover up the design of the two cars. Even so, Smart fans can scroll down and click the play button in order to catch a first glimpse of the upcoming models.
The video posted below has been recorded in Sweden, where the car manufacturer has conducted some last-minute testing. Markus Riedel, the chief engineer, says that both models are finished and they are ready to be launched. The two vehicles are borrowing 70 percents of components from the new generation of the Renault Twingo and they will retain the rear-wheel drive layout. The ForTwo is believed to be 2,629 mm long and the ForFour, 3,505 mm. Power should be provided by the 1.0 liter 70 HP naturally aspirated or by the 0.9 liter 90 HP turbocharged engines.
