Smart has released a new teaser video with the upcoming ForTwo and ForFour generation which will be officially unveiled on the 16th of July.
Smart is placing the new generation of the ForTwo and ForFour into the spotlights once again, with the release of a new video. The two models will be officially unveiled on the 16th of July and the company will also debut its new logo with this occasion. Both vehicles will be sharing about 70 percent of their parts with the new generation of the Renault Twingo so we can already tell how it will feel on the roads.
The carmaker says that the new ForFour will be shortened by 252 mm, to a total of 3,500 mm in length, while its smaller brother, the ForTwo, will be keeping its 2,569 mm overall length, but it will be 100 mm wider at 1,659 mm. the two cars will get rear-wheel drive and the 1.0 liter naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine under their hoods, with 70 HP, along with the 3-cylinder 0.9L turbocharged. Brabus will be developing a 100 HP version, along with an electric variant. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual clutch optional. Order books will open on July 31.
