After it was officially unveiled just a few months ago, the brand new 2013 SRT Viper is ending up in our news once again, this time with the “help” of one of the most famous petrol heads out there, Jay Leno. The car fanatic has went for a spin in the new 2013 SRT Viper generation, proving that this is truly a dream car, despite being Chrysler’s most expensive product.
As a quick reminder, the 2013 SRT Viper is powered by the 8.4 liter V10 engine, which is producing a total output of 640 HP and it has a peak torque of 600 lb-ft. The same unit in the same configuration can also be found on the track-ready GTS. The 2013 SRT Viper is the most expensive product ever signed by Chrysler, but the model is still cheaper than its main rival, the 2013 Corvette ZR1. The 2013 SRT Viper is being produced at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit. Prices for the model start at 97,395 USD, without the 1,995 USD destination fee.
