BBC is ramping up the promotional campaign ahead of this month’s launch of an all new series of the reworked Top Gear show, which has an ensemble cast of new hosts.
While the faces are fresh – well, we can’t attest to that instance in The Stig’s case as well – the Top Gear show appears to be off to its usual shenanigans – meaning they will treat us to preposterous vehicles each and every episode. We already saw a we’re unsure if it’s because they are together, and then we get some exciting footage showing Chris Harris going flat out in an Aston Martin Vulcan at the Abu Dhabi GP circuit.
The clip is also choke full of other high performance machines, such as the Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper, Ford Mustang and the Ferrari 250GT TdF. We can also see the reworked show will cater to our “mundane” aspirations in the luxury crossover segment, taking rides inside the new Mercedes GLC and Jaguar F-Pace. We can see they are trying to provide an exciting content to make sure fans won’t be disappointed because the usual trio – Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond – has left the premises. We’ll get to see soon if the six hosts – also on point are Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz, and Rory Reid – are up to snuff.
