The brand new Volkswagen Golf 7 GTD has been recently spotted at a dealership in a Carbon Steel Grey paint scheme, sitting along its petrol version, the GTI.
After it was officially unveiled just earlier this year, the brand new VW Golf 7 GTD is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing the model quietly sitting at a dealership, sharing the same space with its petrol powered version, the GTI. The new Volkswagen Golf 7 GTD is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine, which is good for 181 HP and 380 Nm of torque (280 lb-ft), available between 1,750 and 3,250 rpm.
The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and the average fuel consumption stands at 4.2 liters / 100 km, while the CO2 emissions stop at 109 CO2. When equipped with the six-speed automatic dual clutch transmission, the average fuel consumption stands at 4.5 L / 100 km and CO2 emissions at 119 g/km. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 7.5 seconds and top speed is 230 km/h (143 mph). You can check out the model in the metal in the footage posted below.
