The future generation of the Audi R8 has been recently spied on the Nurburgring where the supercar in question was being tested.
After the official replacement of the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Huracan, has seen daylight just a few months ago, and it was then brought to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, everyone was asking questions on how the next generation of the Audi R8 will be like. The obvious answers would be lighter, more powerful, different and with new technologies. But rather than speculate on it, we can check out the video posted below, which is showing the 2015 R8 in action on the Nurburgring.
Initial rumors are saying that the entry-level model could gain a 4.2 liter V8 engine under its hood, which is rated at 430 HP (316 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque, while the other engine available could be the one from the Huracan, the 5.2 liter V10 which is rated at more than 525 HP (386 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. Power will be sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through the seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. More details on the 2015 Audi R8 are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its debut.
