The future generation of the Dacia Logan has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested in Europe.
There is no doubt that the current Dacia Logan has exceeded every expectation in sales and mainly because of its cheap price and reliability, managing to sell even better than the Renault Clio, but now, the Romanian based automaker, guided by Renault, is getting ready to reveal the second generation of the popular model.
The future Dacia Logan caught on camera while being tested in Europe is a prototype and even if the model is heavily disguised, we can still see the sloping roofline, the prominent grille or the sweptback headlights.
The new generation of the Romanian vehicle is rumored to be based on the Renault Fluence which can mean only one thing: more money for the final product, but these extra $ will also be reflected into upgraded materials, a larger cabin and more.
The engine lineup for the 2014 Dacia Logan remains a mystery for the moment but candidates can be the 1.5 dCi diesel, the 1.6 liter petrol or the 2.0 liter petrol units.
The prototype of the new Dacia Logan is expected to be officially presented to the public at this year’s Paris Motor Show in September, with the production version going to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
