The Swedish based automaker Volvo has just released the first teaser video with the new generation of the XC90, which will be making its way onto the market soon.
The development of the next generation Volvo XC90 has been on for quite some time now but in order to keep interest high in the upcoming product, the car manufacturer has recently released the first teaser video for the vehicle. The clip posted below is not your ordinary teaser video because the company isn’t revealing anything about the upcoming SUV. Future weeks will be spiced with this kind of videos as the model in question will be introduced over the next few months.
The 2015 Volvo XC90 will get a weight reduction of approximately 150 kg and this basically means that the carmaker can adopt new four-cylinder engines onto it. This will include a 2-liter twincharger unit, with 305 HP, along with a plug-in hybrid version which will offer low emissions mobility. Volvo wants to reduce fatalities in their new vehicles to zero and some amazing technologies, such as the Pedestrian Detection in darkness will be introduced. The Adaptive Cruise Control will have an important role too, along with the Road Edge and Barrier Detection.
