The Japanese based automaker Nissan has just released teaser number four for the 2013 Altima, which will be officially presented to the public on the 4th of April at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
After presenting a small part of the front fascia, then releasing a teaser video and after that revealing its taillight, the new generation of the Nissan Altima is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the automaker launching a new teaser video.
“Nissan has released a fourth video clip and image offering a glimpse of the bold design of the all-new 2013 Altima sedan in advance of its world premiere at the New York Auto Show in April. The sculpted bodyside surface communicates forward motion and aerodynamics even when standing still”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
As a small reminder, the future generation of the Nissan Altima is expected to pack the same engine lineup as the current model, but these will most likely be upgraded in order to become powerful and more fuel efficient. A new CVT transmission is also expected on the model, as well as a hybrid version of the Altima, which will be powered by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine along with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. The 2013 Nissan Altima will be assembled in Smyrna, Tenn and Canton and Miss, while the engines will be made at the company’s Decherd, Tenn plant.
