The Japanese based automaker Nissan has released a new video in which the GT-R Nismo development is being highlighted.
Just a few months after being officially introduced, the Nissan GT-R Nismo is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a video with its development process. The clip posted below is showing Hiroyoshi Kato, a company’s test driver, helping with the development of the GT-R Nismo. The interview was filmed in 2013 and it’s showing Kato talk about making the sports car “enjoyable” for both the road and the track.
“My responsibility is to make the car enjoyable for the customers both on the track and on the road. I would like to make this car respond to the driver precisely because, as I mentioned, if the car goes faster the driver has less time to react”, added Kato.
As you probably already know so far, the Nissan GT-R Nismo is coming with a 3.8 liter V6 engine, which has been rated at 600 HP (447 kW) and 651 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 6-speed sequential dual clutch transmission, sending power to the all-wheel drive system. The GT-R Nismo can lap the ring in 7:08.679 and it costs 149,990 USD in the United States.
