Nissan has recently released a video in which the development of the brand new GT-R Nismo is being explained.
After officially pulling the wraps off the Nissan GT-R Nismo just a week ago, during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, in a world premiere, the Japanese based automaker is bringing some light into the model as the footage posted below is showing its development process. The new Nissan GT-R Nismo has received a front double wishbone suspension, a subtle aerodynamic body kit, six-spoke black alloy wheels with Dunlop bespoke tires, Bilstein dampers, a hollow rear anti-roll bar, new springs and much more.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo has received bigger turbos, an optimized ignition timing for all of its six cylinders, a tweaked fuel pump and some other tweaks. The result is a total output of 600 HP (441 kW) and 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque, squeezed from the 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine. Sadly Nissan hasn’t announced any performance details on the new GT-R Nismo and these will probably be released close to its launch in Japan, which has been set for February. The model in question will arrive in Europe and the U.S. several months later.
