The Nissan Juke-R has been placed into the spotlights once again after being raced in a side show event for the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai, which took place over a week ago.
As you can see from the video posted below, the Nissan Juke-R is taking on a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and a Lamborghini Gallardo on an improvised sprint track which isn’t that long. Besides taking on the three supercars with its small crossover body, the Nissan Juke-R is actually faster than its “competitors” and it can really go around a corner. The winner of the first GTAcademy 2008, Lucas Ordonez, was driving the Juke-R, so his skills mustn’t go away unseen.
As a reminder, the 2012 Nissan Juke R is using the GT-R’s 3.8 liter bi-turbocharged V6 engine which is developing a total output of 480 horsepower on the sports car, along with its all-wheel drive system, gearbox and suspension, so the engineers really know what they’re doing if they have managed to squeeze all of that into the small crossover. The Juke-R is also coming with a race-spec roll cage which is replacing the rear seats, two racing seats, a GT-R sourced steering wheel, a seven-inch touch screen, pedals and dials.
