Well, it’s obviously the new generation of the Ford GT, but it has its “blue oval” badges covered, and this is confusing people.
Ford is continuing its experiments as the newest video is showing the new GT generation on display in London, with its covered badges. People are asked what they think this particular model is and no one even dares to say “Ford”. Zonda, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren or even Brabus are what most of them think this is and they all act very surprised when they find out that this example has been signed by the “blue oval”.
The 2016 Ford GT has been officially unveiled earlier this year and it was even brought to Europe officially, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The new generation of the performance vehicle has an evolutionary design, revised lighting units, new graphics and new technologies. The most important part is found under its hood where the car manufacturer has added a V6 turbocharged engine, which is mid-mounted. Rumor has it that this is capable of producing more than 700 HP (515 kW), sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The new Ford GT is believed to get a starting price of 300,000 euros, on the Old Continent, while over-seas, the vehicle will be setting you back for approximately 400,000 USD. The supercar is said to hit the assembly line in late 2016, which will be making it a 2017 model year.
