The German based automaker Opel has recently released a new commercial video where the Astra GTC is being promoted.
After promoting just about any model in its lineup, Opel suddenly remembered that the Astra GTC was actually successful in the old generation and history might repeat, so a new commercial video of the model might just be what the company needs. You probably remember the new generation of the Opel Astra, well the Astra GTC is actually based on it and Opel thinks that the vehicle is an answer for the VW Scirocco, and who are we to judge them? In fact the new Opel Astra GTC looks so good that we feel like putting a stick in it and eat it like an icecream.
Besides releasing a promotional video for the new Astra GTC, Opel has also announced that two new engines will be available for the model, both of them coming with a 1.7 liter displacement, in a CDTI form, which is translated into diesel in Opel language, where the first one is developing a total output of 110 horsepower and has a peak torque of 280 Nm, while emitting just 119 g of CO2 per km and having an average fuel consumption of 4.5 liters every 100 km, while the second one is coming with 130 HP and 300 Nm of torque.
