The German based automaker Opel has recently released some new videos on the brand new Insignia Country Tourer, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
After it was officially unveiled just a few days ago, the new Opel Insignia Country Tourer is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new videos, which were released by the carmaker. The model in question is now being offered with the IntelliLink infotainment system, which features an 8-inch touch screen display for easier access to the radio, navigation system or the telephone. The IntelliLink infotainment is coming with a touchpad input, on the center console, which is reacting immediately to finger movements and it also recognized handwriting.
The new Opel Insignia Country Tourer is powered by a 2.0 liter SIDI turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 250 HP (184 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft). The 2.0 liter CDTI, with its 163 HP (120 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft), or 380 Nm of torque (280 lb-ft) with overboost, is also available for the model, along with the 195 HP (143 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft) 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI. Opel says that the 2.0 CDTI and the 2.0 SIDI Turbo can be mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, while the other unit is only available with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Delivery books will start on the 10th of September, during the Frankfurt Motor Show.
