Opel has released a new video with the recently unveiled Karl city car in which the design of the model is being explained.
The newest addition to Opel’s lineup is called the Karl and this has been officially shown a couple of weeks ago. The city car is being highlighted in a new video, released by the carmaker, in which is design is being explained. The Opel Karl has the tough job of going against models such as the Fiat Panda, the Volkswagen Up!, the Hyundai i10 or the Kia Picanto. It stands at 3,680 mm long, while the new Corsa is 4,000 mm long and the Adam is 3,700 mm long. The model has space for five passengers and features such as the sunroof, heated front seats, IntelliLink infotainment, park assist and so on. Power will be provided by a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, with 75 HP (55 kW), connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Karl will be making its public debut in Geneva, next March.
