Opel / Vauxhall has recently released a new promotional video with the brand new Cascada, where its electrically operated soft-top is being highlighted.
The brand new Opel Cascada has been described as the spiritual successor of the Rekord and Kapitan and the model is coming with LED-infused headlights, an Astra inspired interior design, an electrically operated soft top which can open in 17 seconds at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph), Morrocana finish for the dashboard, metallic accents, Nappa leather, heated / ventilated front seats, GPS navigation and much more.
A choice of four engines will have to be made when ordering the brand new Opel Cascada, the 1.4 liter Turbo, with 120 HP (88 kW) and 140 HP (103 kW), a 1.6 liter SIDI Turbo with 170 HP (125 kW) and 280 Nm of torque (206 lb-ft), a 2.0 liter CDTI ecoFLEX, with 165 HP (121 kW) and 380 Nm of torque (280 lb0ft) and a 2.0 liter BiTurbo CDTI ecoFLEX with 195 HP (143 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft). The Opel Cascada has a starting price of 25,945 euros in Germany, where the model will go on sale in April
