The French based automaker Peugeot has recently released a presentation video for the new 2008 crossover.
The Peugeot 2008 is Renault’s attempt to enter a segment the Nissan Juke, has felt alone for years, the B-segment for crossover. The vehicle is also a rival for the Opel / Vauxhall Mokka, the Renault Captur, the Ford EcoSport, the Chevrolet Trax and more. The model in question is 200 mm longer than the 208 hatchback, on this is based and whose styling cues is adopting. The Peugeot 2008 is riding higher than the 208 and it has some protective plastic elements on the lower parts of the bumpers and on the side sills.
The interior design of the Peugeot 2008 is inspired from the one used on the 208 and the engine lineup which will be adopted by the crossover includes the three-cylinder 1.2 liter petrol unit with 81 HP, with 108 HP and with 128 HP, along with a 1.6 liter VTi petrol with 118 HP. Diesel lovers will be able to coose the 1.4 liter with 67 HP or the 1.6 liter with 91 HP or 113 HP. The Peugeot 2008 will go on sale in Europe this summer.
