The French based automaker Peugeot has recently released the first promotional video with the brand new 208 T16 Pikes Peak race car.
After it was officially presented just a few hours ago, the brand new Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak race car is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing its first promotional video. The footage posted below is showing the small and impressive racer paying tribute to its “ancestors”. Peugeot Sport has created the 208 T16 in order to tackle Pikes Peak, the legendary hill climb, this summer.
The Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak racer is coming with a carbon fiber body, with wide side skirts, a side exhaust existing system, a ventilated hood, a massive rear diffuser and a massive rear wing. The cabin of the model has been stripped out and fitted with a roll cage, with a carbon fiber racing seat, an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a digital instrument cluster and alloy pedals. The Peugeot 208 T16 will be driven by Sebastien Loeb in the Pikes Peak Unlimited Class, on the 30th of June, and it will do 20 km, 156 turns and 1,500 meter elevation change.
