The safety specialists from Euro NCAP have recently tested out the Peugeot 301 / Citroen C-Elysee and the model in question has managed to score a total of 3 stars out of a possible 5.
If you have your eyes on the Peugeot 301 or on the Citroen C-Elysee, chances are you may want to turn your heads towards the competition as the two models have managed to score just 3 stars when they were being tested out by the Euro NCAP. The tested vehicle was a Citroen C-Elysee equipped with the 1.2 liter engine in the Seduction trim and the rating applies to the Peugeot 301 too.
The model in question managed to achieve 71 percent in the Adult Occupant protection, 75 percent in the Child Occupant protection, 54 percent in Pedestrian safety and just 33 percent in the Safety Assist. The only “poor” protection was seen in the side pole impact at the chest but surprisingly the whiplash protection has been marked as “good”. Marginal and Adequate protections were seen at the in the front offset. Major points were lost in the pedestrian safety category where problems were spotted with the front part of the hood and the lower and side sections of the windscreen.
