Peugeot has released a new promo with the recently unveiled 308 GTi.
After being officially introduced a couple of months ago, the brand new Peugeot 308 GTi is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new clip. The French hot hatch is getting its 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration teased in the new video and it is shown accelerating in 1,000m, so if you are curious to find out more about it, and also to hear its engine roar, all you have to do is scroll down and click the play button.
The new Peugeot 308 GTi is the newest addition to the C-segment for hot hatches. The model is available for order across the Old Continent and it has a starting price of 33,700 euros. For the money, buyers will get the 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine under their hoods, rated at 250 HP (184 kW) and 330 Nm (244 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. A more powerful version of the compact car is being offered too, with 270 HP (200 kW) and 330 Nm (244 lb-ft) of torque, which is also equipped with a 6-speed manual, but this needs 0.2s less to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill. This variant costs 37,200 euros and it is more expensive than the entry-level Volkswagen Golf GTI, in its 3-door version. The first deliveries of the French hot hatch will begin on the 22nd of October.
