As you probably already know, Peugeot has officially unveiled the new 308 GTi just a few weeks back. The new Peugeot 308 GTi is making use of a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is offered in two outputs, with 250 HP (184 kW) and with 270 HP (200 kW), both of them getting the same torque figure, 330 Nm (244 lb-ft). Power is being sent to the front-wheel drive through a 6-speed manual transmission and it is allowing the car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in in 6.2 seconds and 6.0 seconds, respectively. The Peugeot 308 GTi is already available for order on its local market, where the starting price has been set at 37,200 euros. For an extra 1,800 euros, customers can have the two-tone red and black theme. The first deliveries will begin this fall.
