Peugeot has recently released a new video with the 208 Hybrid FE Concept in which some of the features found on the model are being detailed.
The French based automaker Peugeot is placing the new 208 Hybrid FE Concept into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, in which some of the features of the model are being highlighted. The Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE Concept is actually 200 kg lighter than the base 1.0 liter VTi version and the model has received a fiber glass blade, working as a wishbone, on both suspensions. The hybrid car also has a rear diffuser, in order to improve its air flow, along with aero-optimized 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in narrow tires.
The Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE Concept is taking its power from an optimized 1.2 liter VTi three-cylinder petrol burner, backed up by an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The internal combustion unit is good for 68 HP (50 kW) and the electric motor is producing 40 HP (30 kW). Thanks to this configuration, the Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE Concept can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8 seconds. The average fuel consumption in the car stands at 2.09 liters / 100 km (135 mpg UK / 112.4 mpg US) and the CO2 emissions will stop at 50 g/km.
