The French based automaker Peugeot has recently released a first teaser video with what will be known as the Onyx Concept, ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show later on this month.
The Peugeot Onyx Concept is getting a futuristic look with a two-tone exterior, a power-deployable rear spoiler, LED headlights and some other interesting features. If we should judge by its exterior design revealed in the video posted below, than we might dare to say that the Peugeot Onyx Concept is a possible supercar which might actually be produced in the nearby future by the French based automaker.
Just like with every other interesting vehicle out there, rumors appear, and in this case they are saying that the Peugeot Onyx Concept might get a hybrid powerplant under its hood, with a 1.6 liter THP engine with 256 HP and an electric motor generating 120 HP. The model is expected to burn just 4L/100km in terms of fuel. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the Peugeot Onyx Concept and we will have to wait for this month’s Paris Motor Show, where the model will be officially presented to the public for the first time.
