Polaris has recently released the first promotional video for the newly unveiled Slingshot, which is showing the model in question in action.
After being officially unveiled, just a day ago, the brand new Polaris Slingshot is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of its first promotional video, which has been released by the company. The model in question is a 3-wheeled vehicle which can be driven with a motorcycle license and it weighs just 771 kg (1,700 lbs), standing in at 149,6 inches in length, 77,6 inches in width and 51,9 inches in height, riding on a 105 inch long wheelbase.
The model in question is coming with a 6-speaker sound system, with a 4.3-inch LCD, tilt steering wheel, Bluetooth, rearview camera, USB support, two lockable storage bins, waterproof seats, electronic power assisted steering with ESC, LED taillights, projector beam headlights and so on. Power is being provided by a 2.4 liter four-cylinder EcoTec engine, made by General Motors, rated at 173 HP (129 kW) at 6,200 rpm and 225 Nm (166 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,700 rpm. The unit is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. Prices for the base model will be starting from 19,999 USD.
