A new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Police car has been recently spotted at an automotive event in Sweden.
When talking about the hottest police cars out there, Dubai keeps popping in my mind as the United Arab Emirates country has Bugattis, Ferraris, Koenigseggs and so on. But this article isn’t about the UAE and in fact the car show where this Corvette Stingray police car was seen is in Northern Europe, Sweden to be more precise. The model in question is finished in black and it has the word POLICE on its doors and hood, but we can also see an Arctic White Corvette with the Police livery on its body, but this is lacking the light bar.
As you probably remember, the new Chevrolet Corvette has been in production since 2013 and it’s currently assembled in Kentucky, United States. The model is offered in two body styles, coupe and convertible, and it has a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The sports car stands at 4,493 mm in length, 1,877 mm in width and 1,234 mm in height, weighing in at 1,475 kg. Power is provided by new 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, rated at 455 HP (339 kW) and 624 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint takes 3.8 seconds.
