The German based automaker Porsche has been recently spotted out while testing the 911 Carrera 991-2 Series on public roads, with the model wearing almost no camouflage on its body.
The development of an updated Porsche 911, based on the new 991 generation, has been known for quite a few months now, as our spy photographers have managed to capture test mules on camera several times now. The newest footage with the Porsche 911 Carrera 991-2 Series is coming from a district of Stuttgart, Germany, as the model in question has been seen in traffic, wearing some light camouflage on it.
The prototype in question has LED daytime running lights, larger taillights, some other tweaks at the rear and not just that. As far as the interior design, this is expected to be slightly updated once the “new” model will be hitting the market, but the sad part is that the engine lineup is said to be the same. This is all we’ve got on the 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera 991-2 Series for the moment but more details on the sports car will probably be announced during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October, when the model is expected to make its public debut.
