A new Porsche promotional video is showing the brand new Cayman GT4 and the 911 GT3 RS racing each other on a mountain road and on a track.
Two of the hottest sports car recently introduced by Porsche, the Cayman GT4 and the more powerful 911 GT3 RS, are the subject to a brand new video in the two are racing each other on a mountain road and on a track. The clip is lacking that boring German talk and it is focusing on fast driving and engine noise so petrol heads are advised to scroll down and click play.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been officially introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, back in March. The model has an updated body with a prominent splitter, a large rear wing, extra cooling elements on the engine lid and so on. Power is being provided by a 4.0 liter naturally aspirated flat six-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 500 HP (368 kW) and 460 Nm (340 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3s and to go up to 322 km/h (200 mph). Prices for it start at 181,690 EUR.
The Porsche Cayman GT4 has been also unveiled at the same automotive event. This is getting an aggressive exterior design, a rear fixed wing, large rear splitter, sportier side scoops, high performance braking system, 30 mm reduced ride height and dual exhaust system. Power is coming from a six-cylinder 3.8 liter unit, rated at 385 HP (283 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 6-speed manual. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.4 seconds and top speed is 295 km/h (183 mph). Prices have been set at 85,779 euros.
