Just unveiled online ahead of their Los Angeles Auto Show public debut scheduled for November 20, the Cabriolet versions of the 911 Turbo and Turbo S reveal more in huge gallery and video.
Just as a reminder of the facts, the duo celebrates 50 years of 911 and the 40th anniversary of the 911 Turbo, have a retractable roof with a lightweight magnesium frame that opens and closes in around 13 seconds, at speeds of up to 30 mph.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine delivers 520 hp in the open-top 911 Turbo and 560 hp in the S model. The cars accelerate from zero to 60mph in 3.3 and 3.1 seconds respectively, reaching a top speed of up to 195 mph.
In a direct comparison to its predecessors, the new 911 Turbo Cabriolet’s deliver 30 more hp and are 0.2 seconds faster in acceleration. The 911 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet U.S. EPA fuel consumption ratings are 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
