Porsche has released a new presentation video with the impressive 918 Spyder, in which the chassis of the model is being highlighted.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is being placed into the spotlights once again, after it has been officially unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September, in its final production form, this time with the help of a new video, which is highlighting its chassis. The model in question is a mid-engine sports plug-in hybrid car, produced by Porsche, with an all-wheel drive, which is only offered in 918 units.
The model in question is taking its power from a 4.6 liter V8 engine, producing 608 HP (453 kW), backed up by two electric motors, delivering an extra 279 HP (208 kW). The total output produced by the powertrain stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 2.6 seconds in the hybrid supercar and top speed stands at 345 km/h (214 mph). The Porsche 918 Spyder will be produced in 918 units and production of the supercar began back in September, 2013, with deliveries starting back in December. Prices for this model start at 845,000 USD (641,000 euros).
