A rare and extremely expensive example of the Porsche 918 Spyder has been washed recently on a crowded street in London.
We all know that we have to keep our rides clean no matter what but washing a rare hypercar on a busy street in London is a different thing. The model in question, which is wearing Arabic license plates, is the subject of this video which is showing two men carefully doing the exterior and interior while bystanders are taking pictures and filming. Do you agree on this action or should the owner have went for a local carwash instead?
The Porsche 918 Spyder is the fastest and most powerful road-legal vehicle to be signed by the German brand. The model in question has been unveiled back in 2013, in its final production form, at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it is taking aim at the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1. The hybrid hypercar is offered in a two-door roadster body style, with a rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. All 918 units of the vehicle have a 4.6 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine under their hoods, backed up by two electric motors. The total output produced by the assembly stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needs just 2.5 seconds. Top speed stands at 340 km/h (210 mph). All examples have been sold out and the initial price was under 900,000 USD.
