Oh, and if you need some additional details, we can tell you the beautiful Porsche 918 Spyder has been taken all the way from its home in Germany to enjoy some hot laps on the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Behind the wheel is Porsche Works Driver Patrick Long and the camera is letting you see everything the driver sees – which is cool, since this is one very neat lap on a world-class circuit.
You should note there will be some exterior shots braking the very entertaining interior awesomeness, but since we’re dealing with Porsche’s crown jewel, we won’t mind too much. Just as a reminder, the Porsche 918 Spyder is a mid-engined plug-in hybrid supercar, churning out 887 hp (661 kW). That’s thanks to a 4.6 liter V8 that gets the things going with 608 hp and two electric motors that add 279 hp. That’s quite enough to get to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds on its way to a head splitting 345 km/h maximum speed.
