[VIDEO] Porsche 918 Spyder goes around the Dubai Autodrome
The Porsche 918 Spyder has been recently caught on camera, from the passenger side, while going for a spin on the Dubai Autodrome.
While the McLaren P1 is playing in Bahrain these days and it’s announcing its arrival in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in its final production form, and the Ferrari F150 still being kept a secret until the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next month, Porsche has taken a prototype of the 918 Spyder, for a quick spin on the Dubai Autodrome. The video posted below has been shot from the passenger side and it’s providing some interesting aspects of the upcoming supercar.
As a quick reminder, the Porsche 918 Spyder will get a 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, with 562 HP, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, helped by two electric motors. The total output will stand at 795 HP. Prices for the final production version of the supercar will start at 845,000 USD in the United States, once it will hit the market, and this is translated into 634,000 euros or 405,500 GBP, at the current exchange rates, without calculating the destination charge or the handling fees.
